John-Marasco

 John Marasco
       Originally from Niagara Falls, New York, John Marasco studied guitar from the age of eight. He moved to Los Angeles, CA and lived there from 1974 to 1980 playing and touring with Peter Allen, John Valenti, Louis St. Louis, Alexis Smith and The Lettermen. With The Lettermen, John toured the US, Canada and Asia performing and recording live and studio albums. He came to Boston in 1981 to attend Berklee College Of Music. He started teaching guitar at Berklee in 1984.
       As a Boston musician he has played in settings ranging from solo to large ensembles. His theatre credits include Will Rogers Follies, A Chorus Line, Children Of Eden, Annie, Good News, Evita, Sweet Charity, Showboat, and Honk. He also performed with the Boston Ballet in Sir Kenneth MacMillan's "Winter Dreams".
