Jerry Jerry Seeco
     Jerry Seeco is an Assistant Professor at Berklee where he teaches arranging, vocal ensembles, and directs the Berklee Jazz Flute Ensemble.

     Jerry studied music education at Boston University, and studied arranging with Herb Pomeroy, Jaki Byard, Everett Longstreth, and Jack Martin in New Orleans. Following his stint at BU, he taught instrumental music in the public schools of Franklin, and Hopedale, MA.

     Jerry has played with and arranged for numerous big bands in the New England area. His lengthy performing credits include the jazz trumpet chair in Buddy Morrow's Orchestra. Jerry's talents also span a number of other instruments, including flute, tenor sax, and trombone. He has performed with the critically acclaimed Thayer Symphony Orchestra both on tenor sax and on trumpet as featured guest soloist. Much in demand as an arranger, Jerry has also written for the Thayer Symphony, and he leads and writes for his own group, the Jerry Seeco Band.
